The Colorado Distance and Electronic Learning Academy (CDELA) is a tuition-free public, online charter school. It is a statewide distance learning, nonsectarian school for grades K-12. CDELA exists through the legal authority of Colorado charter school laws, and answers directly to the Colorado Charter School Institute.

CDELA operates under the direction of a Colorado nonprofit corporation, headed by an independent Board of Directors comprised of community leaders who are dedicated to the expansion of parental choice in education throughout Colorado. CDELA, through its independent Board of Directors, is dedicated to furnishing an individualized distance-learning program for children. The school operates statewide in Colorado and is approved by the Colorado Charter School Institute.

DELA operates schools in Colorado, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
