Parent Responsibilities
Parents are responsible for:
- Ensuring their student is completing their own work and taking their own tests
- Logging student hours weekly
- Maintaining contact, via telephone, e-mail or personal conference, with teachers and/or the academic advisor
- Providing transportation to testing locations for state-mandated testing
- Ensuring that their student is participating in all required interactive sessions
- Providing internet service for their student(s) while enrolled with CDELA
- Compliing with and overseeing that their student(s) are compling with all CDELA school policies and expectations
Student Responsibilities
Students are responsible for:
- Spending 26+ hours (Grades K-8) and 29+ hours (Grades 9-12) per week on school work and activities
- Completing their own work and taking their own tests
- Remaining on pace throughout the semester
- Maintaining contact, via telephone, e-mail or personal conference, with teachers and/or the academic advisor
- Participating in district-and state-mandated testing
- Attending all required interactive sessions
- Compling with all CDELA school policies and expectations
